Gerald and Adriana Zylstra

The Music Department has received contributions from the estate of Gerald S. and Adriana M. Zylstra for the establishment of a piano award. Mrs. Zylstra taught piano for over 40 years and was the first piano teacher for many children. Interest from this fund provides an award to an outstanding piano student entering his or her freshman year at Calvin College. Applicants will be judged on the basis of proficiency in performance and record of high school achievement.
