Family and Friends of John and Gladys Bratt

This scholarship has been established by the children of Dr. John H. and Mrs. Gladys A. Bratt in Dr. and Mrs. Bratt’s honor to recognize Dr. Bratt’s teaching career at Calvin College. Dr. Bratt retired in 1976 from a distinguished professorship of 30 years in the Department of Religion and Theology. This endowed scholarship is intended to provide recognition and financial assistance to upperclass students at Calvin College who are preparing to enter Calvin Seminary and to eventually become ministers of the Word
