Estate of Nelson Sterken

This scholarship is established to honor the memory of Nelson Sterken. While living on his family’s farm Nelson worked in a machine shop until arthritis forced him into early retirement. He was a strong Christian and a member of North Street CRC in Zeeland, MI, all of his life. His only sister was a nurse, and therefore this scholarship will be offered to female nursing students at Calvin College.
