Dr. Dale and Ila Wiersma

This scholarship was established by Dr. Dale and Ila Wiersma. Dale has worked in the West Michigan area as a physician and Ila has previously worked as a nurse. They both attended the University of Wisconsin, where Dale graduated from medical school and Ila pursued a Master’s Degree in Nursing. Through the years, they have experienced the blessing of God as they practiced in the field of medicine. Out of gratitude, they are providing a scholarship opportunity for students from Michigan who will promote a rich ethnic diversity to the Calvin community as they pursue their college degree.
