Dorothy Loftus

Mrs. Dorothy F. Loftus, an alumna of Calvin who for many years has worked in children and family services, established this scholarship. Her concerns for education, particularly for African Americans, are undergirded by her faith in God and the power of education to create justice and racial equity among people. This scholarship is intended to encourage African American Christians to attend Calvin.
