Daniel and Cecilia De Cook

Dr. Daniel De Cook was raised by parents who were medical missionaries in Bangladesh. All of his earliest jobs were in the mission hospital which included sorting donated goods in the warehouse, pill counting in the pharmacy, and eventually scrubbing in for surgery and functioning as a medic in the clinic. God used those experiences to permanently create a place in Dr. De Cook’s heart for medical care for the underserved. This scholarship was established to provide scholarship support to a student whose life and academic career has been touched in a similar way by God.
