Colleagues and Friends of Peter V. Tigchelaar

This scholarship was established by grateful students to honor Peter V. Tigchelaar’s 33 years as Calvin College’s premedical and predental advisor. Professor Tigchelaar has modeled academic excellence and Christian character as hallmarks to success in medicine and dentistry. He has invested personally in the lives of students interested in the health professions. As his family, colleagues, and students note: “He mentors, befriends, helps, and encourages students.
