Chris and Lynnelle Brinks

Chris and Lynnelle Brinks have established this scholarship to honor their friend Martha, who passed away in 2019. Martha, along with her parents and her sister Gladys, immigrated to the United States from the Netherlands in 1952. The family settled in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended Seymour Christian Reformed Church, where they were lifelong members. While Martha never married or had children, she was a dedicated supporter of Christian education. This scholarship is established using funds from Martha’s estate to continue to honor her commitment to making Christian education affordable.
